Finding My Home, Anonymous Female

My parents met the local church about two years before I was born, so I grew up in the local church. As a teenager, however, I spent a few years wondering if I wanted to be a Christian and I tried out some of the attractions that this world has to offer. All I found was dissatisfaction and unrest.

During my sophomore year in high school I attended a high school retreat and found the Lord. I finally found what I had been looking for! Because of my upbringing in the local church, I knew that it was the only place for me. The love and care of my family and the other believers for me through the years drew me to the local church. I have recently graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, and from the time I met the Lord, my joy has been in being with the other members in the local church, learning to contact the Lord in prayer and experiencing the Lord Jesus Christ living within me. Thank you, Lord!

The Ministries of the Age

The ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee are precious to me. Every book of theirs that I read opens my eyes to see Christ and His desire for the Church, His Bride. Furthermore, it nourishes me with solid food and stirs up my appetite to know the Lord more.

I have particularly enjoyed the Life-Study of the Bible by Witness Lee. Every message is an eye-opener as to the truth in the Bible. Every line is focused on Christ. The more I read, the more I want to read! I am truly a beneficiary of all Watchman Nee and Witness Lee's labor in the Word of God.
